The mission of the Russellville Police Departments is to;

• Serve the community

• Protect citizens and their property

• Prevent criminal activity

• Educate the public & our kids on crime & drug prevention

The Russellville Police Department is made up of approximately 30 personnel to include sworn officers

and non-sworn personnel such as dispatchers.  Different duties in the Police Department include

Patrol, Traffic, Investigations, Dispatch, Records, Compliance, School Resource, and Litter Officer. 

The Police Department also participates in the Franklin County Joint-Agency Special Response Team.

Officers from the Department perform duties on the team in addition to their regular assigned duties.
